Ubisoft's screwups, AC3

Assassin's Creed 3 PC port is a giant piece of shit.

Forced Vsync? Why? All it does for me is create stupid amounts of input lag, and it actually made the framerate tank EVERYWHERE. I turned it off in the .ini and the game runs a lot smoother, 60+ fps on my now pretty outdated gaming rig. Upgrading to a 2500k soon, if only I had enough for a 670, or even a delicious 680...

Can you even turn off the AA? I didn't give it much thought because the in game setting "Normal" does not mean ON or OFF.

Mouse acceleration!? Mice are not analog sticks! They're for precision and mouse acceleration destroys any thought of having short, fast, precise movements. We've told you time and time again, Ubisoft. Stop with the fucking mouse acceleration shit.

We're also limited to fullscreen all the time. How does that sound? Can't alt-tab to check skype or whatever without it minimizing. A smaller complaint, but one nonetheless.

"If you hate it so much, why did you buy it?!"

How can I fucking try it without getting it first? Oh that's right, torrents.

"Stupid PC gamer, piracy is killing games!"

No, ignorant fucks like you hold the industry back. We want what's best for our platform, and the devs aren't giving it to us. So what do we do? Try before we buy so we don't get fucking ripped off. Would you like to pay $60 for a game with over 100 hotkeys mapped to the controller? No? How about a menus system that requires precise navigation akin to using a mouse? No? It sounds like a nightmare you say? Now take that feeling and multiply it by 9001. That's how PC gamers like me are feeling for shit ports like this.

And the fucking menu system in AC3, holy shit. Yeah, make the entire menu scroll instead of just highlighting buttons. Go ahead, make us click once to MOVE THE MENU SELECTOR, then make us wait for it to get there before letting us click again to actually select the menu item.

I'm sure AC3 is a great game... on console. Fix your shit, Ubi. Go back to being great. Maybe then I'll throw money at you again... And whatever happened to a skip-able intro sequence?!

To come: fanbois, money grubbing devs and publishers, annoying commercials, and more.
